Teaching, a Passion
After working at Lambspun of Colorado for almost fifteen years I stated my own business in 2016 and started making all kinds of wearable art from woven scarves, wet felted cowls, leatherwork,… to jewelry.
When I stated to be invited to teach at museums and local stores, I realized how much I had missed teaching.
Today and for 2022 I have set myself a goal of teaching more and presenting my customers and followers with a schedule of classes and workshops.
With my dear friend and business coach, Kate of Sunshine Lady Photography, we have decided that I will start by offering a two hour drop-in time every week. You can come to my studio - possibly my sewing studio one week and my weaving studio another - for drop in help and lessons. I am trying to implement this in November as I will hopefully be traveling to Mexico in December.
That is very exciting to me as I have realized over the years how much teaching is such a passion of mine.
I want to offer classes in everything I do, every day! And that is why I am so thankful to be working with Kate, who keeps me centered, aligned, on task, away from burning out and BALANCED!
So, I will start with my strong points & areas of knowledge and two hours a week. Keeping in mind what my future students have been requesting and most interested in.
I can’t wait to see you in November for a fun Beta Testing of drop in classes and later with a serious 2022 class schedule.
Don’t be shy, drop me a little line and let me know what you would like to learn from me.
