Woven Blanket Purple Haze
"Purple Haze"
Handwoven Blanket/Wrap/Shawl/Big Winter Scarf made of (in order of quantity):
- sheep's wool
- cotton
- linen
- rayon
- silk
- bamboo
- synthetic
The weft of this blanket is 100% merino wool and makes the blanket nice and warm.
The warp is mixed and contains a lot of cotton and linen along with a little bit of silk, bamboo, rayon and a hint of synthetic fibers. A large part of the cottons were hand-dyed.
Texture and color are my favorite to work with and this blanket reflects that a bit.
This wearable art piece is: 66"x30" or 76"x30" including fringe.
