Commissions and Requests

Commissions or requests are tricky.

I just made these earrings per request and they did not work out for the business that was asking me to make flower or butterfly earrings.

As I often do in life: I made lemonade of lemons! In fact Brian and I have a great ginger lemonade recipe. Hit us up if you would like it. It is amazing! So to get back to the earrings I just uploaded them on my website and they are available for sale now.

It was fun to try and I am finding that I am very abstract in my creations of flowers. I am ok with that. I am also excited to try again maybe and see what else comes up when I think of flowers and butterflies. Stay tuned!

I am thankful to get requests and I am loving the challenge.

Teaching again and this time at my own studio has been great. It is easier to let my students make what they visualize instead of me trying to make what someone else envisages.

So come take a class! It is so fun to make something for yourself, from your own hands. It is so rewarding. I have so many supplies to share, some special ones that I have been collecting for years and that need to be enjoyed.

And I love to teach you all I know.
