Who was more excited Saturday? The children or I?

We had so much fun! I was excited to teach a fiber arts technique that I love: wet felting. And I got to teach it outside, in my backyard. This is one of my favorite locations as Spring emerges and later summer. People who know me and my love for gardening are telling me right now that they can’t wait to see my backyard later on.

Saturday was a great kick off for teaching classes outdoors. It warms my heart to see the beautiful creations children come up with and to see how happy they are in the process.

I am trying to keep updating my classes - I just did. From Winter to Spring, to Summer,… but I have to admit that is not my strong point (look out for next week’s blog post on “Technology Versus Art). I much prefer making art! So don’t be shy, if your children and their friends would like to learn something fun and creative, reach out and I can customize the class for you and them.
